These experienced professionals will assess your baby’s head shape and overall needs, guiding you through the recommended next steps using custom cranial helmet solutions. Our goal is to ensure you feel informed and supported right from the very beginning.
Step 2: Expert Assessment and 3D Scanning
Our trusted partners provide the most accurate and personalised care for your little one. Using a quick, non-invasive 3D scan, your clinician can assess your baby’s head shape and growth pattern in detail. This advanced imaging allows them to recommend the most effective cranial orthosis (helmet) to support healthy head development and gentle reshaping.
Step 3: Custom Design and Creation
Once your baby’s scans are received, the design process for their custom cranial helmet begins. Using advanced 3D printing technology, we create a personalised design based on the precise measurements captured during the scan. This ensures a comfortable, accurate fit purposefully made to support natural head growth and gentle correction. Your custom helmet will be ready for fitting within approximately 2 weeks.
Step 4: Fitting and Ongoing Support
Once the cranial helmet is ready, your orthotist will carefully fit it to your baby’s head, ensuring everything is positioned correctly for comfort and effectiveness. They will also guide you through caring for the helmet at home and explain the follow-up process.
